Fluke, Paralichthys dentatus

Also called the Summer Flounder, the Fluke is a wonderful table fish found on the East Coast. Believe it or not they start out in life swimming upright like a normal fish, eyes on either side of their head. In the juvenile stage the eye migrates all the way around to the other side of the head and they change to swimming flat on the ocean floor!
